Topher Talks

So I have touched this Blog only a couple of times. Today I came to the realization that not only is this blog a way to inform our friends and family about our day to day lives, but these are our way of leaving a foot print in history, and providing a record of our selfs to future people that are interested in what the people where like in our time line. I was just watching a show on Hulu called "Who Do You Think You Are?" about these celebrity's genealogy and they find out where they come from. I hate the idea that my kids or relatives wont have access to the history that I failed to record. My family tree as it is pretty well unknown. I'm going to attempt to keep a log of my life in just a little more detail. This may sound a little strange to some of you who are here now, but I feel this is my moment to set my opinion and not have it second guessed by anyone looking back trying to figure out my life.

So this is where I try to figure out where to start....
Well My name is Christopher Adam Gutbrod. I'm twelve days away from my birthday and I will be 25 years old. I prefer to be called Topher and its not because of any person on TV. It just felt more unique, there are just to many Chris or Christopher. I currently live in downtown Spokane Washington and work at west.

My thoughts about my family.
All the guys in our family can not spell at all and all descendants of my Grandfather are kind of eccentric(to say the least).

My Grandfather Gutbrod.
Well he died as Russell J Gutbrod. Now thats not the only name he had. He also went by William and George. They also say that he was born with a twin and assumed his identity. No one is quite sure who he was. I have looked long and hard and was able to obtained his death death certificate. I was able to find his birth parents Father George Gutbrod and Mother LaVerne Quaintence on the internet with a child's death recored with a very similar birth date apr 03, 1927. This just says to me that he was not born as Russell.
